Ocala, Florida, USA – February 06, 2022 – Three weeks of the 2022 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit are now complete! The Ocala Premiere featured the first of seven weeks of FEI CSI2* competition, along with special classes for Jumpers and Hunters at the National level. Read on for the winners of Week III’s featured competition.

Sunday’s $50,000 HITS Grand Prix was one for the ladies. Only Hunter Holloway (USA) and Dorothy Douglas (USA) were able to advance from Jaime Morillo’s first round course to the jump-off. While Morillo would’ve preferred to see a couple more riders join them, Holloway and Douglas gave the short course their best. Undeterred by a dropped shoe on her other mount that prevented her from making a second attempt at the first round, Holloway rode Pepita Con Spita to a clean round completed in 43.412. A dropped rail on the first jump thwarted Douglas’ try, securing the win for Holloway and her team.
