Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 13, 2022 – Michael Hughes (USA) and Kashmir van d’Oude Pastory put the United States on the podium of the €95,200 Horseware Grand Prix CSI 4*, held last Sunday to conclude a great first week of the 2022 Andalucía Sunshine Tour.  In the end, it was Sanne Thijssen (NED) and Con Quidam RB who claimed top honors in the feature class of the week.

Michael Hughes (USA) came in and rode a beautiful clear round aboard the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve x Sun Light van de Zuuthoeve), which was one of only four in the whole jump off.  Michael went into the lead stopping the clock in just 45.34 seconds and the cheers went up from the crowd.
