Lake Placid, New York – June 24, 2026 – Laura Chapot (USA) rode Ginola to victory in the High Peaks Resort Jumper Challenge – 1.40m, Wednesday’s featured event at the 2026 Lake Placid Horse Shows (LPHS), sponsored by The Bainbridge Companies, and presented by Sea Shore Stables. Chapot topped a field of 31 horses at the North Elba Showgrounds. The horse shows feature two weeks of world-class competition, June 23-July 5, sanctioned by the U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) and International Equestrian Federation (FEI).

Chapot rode 12^th over the 13-effort, first-round course designed by Nick Granat (CAN). After going clean, she turned in another clean ride over the eight-effort jump-off course, and her time of 36.328 seconds moved her into the lead for good. The day’s final entry, Campbell Brown (USA), came closest to beating her, finishing the jump-off clean on Mansini LTD, but with a time of 37.207 seconds to wind up second. Third place went to Sam Walker (CAN), who finished the jump-off clean in 37.477 seconds on Sanchez K.
