
Wellington, United States – April 16, 2026 – The United States was well represented by Chloe Reid (USA) and Chelsea 179 at the start of international competition during Week 3 of the Wellington International Spring Series, presented by Florida Coast Equipment.

From a competitive opening field of 46 over course designer Oscar Soberon’s (USA) two-phase track, Tanimara Maria Macari Carrillo (MEX) and Quenala T set the fastest time in the speed phase of 31.37 seconds. Only fractions off the winning pace, in 31.90 seconds, was Chloe Reid (USA), riding Live Oak Plantation’s Chelsea 179, an 11-year-old Oldenburg (Cador 5 x Laudabilis) mare.

Closing out Thursday’s podium was USA’s Alex Matz (USA) aboard Clarimo, a 9-year-old Zangersheide (Comilfo Plus Z x Polydor) gelding co-owned by Matz’s parents, Dorothy and Michael. The pair stopped the clock at 32.69 seconds.
