
Wellington, Florida, USA โ December 14, 2023 โ The 2024 Holiday Festival II CSI 4* horse show, held at Wellington International from December 14 to 17, concluded with a series of spectacular performances despite challenging weather conditions. The week began on Thursday withย the $50,000 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 4* sponsored byย Omega Alpha. Kristen Vanderveen (USA) emerged victorious on Bull Runโs Hesed, followed closely by Nayel Nassar (EGY) on Jiminy Cricket and Margie Engle (USA) on Dicas.ย ย
Vanderveen was victorious aboard Bull Run Jumpers’ 9-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Christian 25 x Lord Z) completing their second flawless performance in 38.08 seconds.
Margie Engle (USA) and Dicas were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing second only eleven-hundredths of a second behind, being timed in 38.19 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Nayel Nassar (EGY) and Jiminy Cricket produced too clean rounds too, securing bronze honors in 41.12 seconds.
