Taylor Land Gets Going by Winning the $25,000 ProElite Welcome Stake at Tryon

Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – May 18, 2023 – Taylor Land (USA) and Get Go got off to great start last Thursday during the third week of the Tryon Spring Series at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) & Resort. Of 37 trips to navigate the Andy Christiansen (ECU) course, Land and the were one of 11 pairs to qualify for the jump off. In the end, Land and 2012 Hanoverian gelding (Grey Top x Wantana) owned by Pinetree Farms Inc. landed in first place by stopping the jump-off timers in 35.291 seconds to win the $25,000 ProElite Welcome Stake at Tryon Stadium.

Gonzalo Busca Roca (ESP) and Classified, the 2014 Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by Liliane Stransky cleared the course in 37.354 seconds for reserve honors.

Martien van der Hoeven (USA) and In a Hurry, the 2013 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Dallas VDL x Busuela) owned by Pine Hollow Farm, produced a 37.568 second round to claim third place.
