Paris Sellon & Attoucha Shine Bright Again at the Sunshine Tour CSI 4*

Vejer de La Frontera – February 19, 2023 – Another Irish victory! Seamus Hughes Kennedy was the winner of the in the €28,960 Medium Tour Grand Prix CSI 4* with  Cuffesgrange Cavadora.  This was a challenging 1.50 track, on grass in the Hickstead arena. Seamus was the winner of the Small GP last week on this very same horse and must be delighted with today’s results.

He stopped the timers aboard the 11-year-old bay Irish Sport Horse mare (Z Wellie 72 x Luidam) in a well contested jump-off in just 40.71 seconds, a smidgen ahead of Paris Sellon (USA) who was last to go and just slid in a fraction of a second behind him with the lovely Attoucha in 40.85 seconds (Aganix du Seigneur x Diamant de Semilly)

Just behind her in third, was the French rider, Penélope Léprevost (FRA) with Djagger Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Apache d’Adriers), completing their second penalty-free performance in 40.90 seconds.

In fourth was one of our past GP winners here, the young Irish rider, Niamh Mcevoy (IRL) with Aconzina PS and in fifth German rider Jens Baackmann (GER) with Aglaia J.
