Wellington, Florida, USA – May 17, 2022 – Equestrian Sport Productions is pleased to announce that the barns at Wellington International are getting an upgrade! Four permanent barns will have their stalls replaced, and three brand new permanent barns are under construction. The three new barns will replace Tent 1, Tent 2, and Tent C. These changes are some of the first steps in the years-long timeline for Wellington International as it aims to Set New Standards for the equestrian industry. Enhancements will continue to be made in the coming years to elevate the experience, comfort, and convenience at the property for our guests and their horses, as well as fans and families.

“Our team is thrilled to be able to undergo these projects thanks to the investments of the Global Equestrian Group in our facility, and we are excited to unveil the new and updated barns to exhibitors later this year,” commented Michael Stone, President of Equestrian Sport Productions. “We have a long list of changes we intend to make over the next few years, with our first priority being the stabling for the horses as they are the most important members of our sport. Additionally, I would like to thank IDA Development for their commitment to this construction as the first step in our enhancement plans.”

The new barns will be completed in time for the ESP Holiday Series in November, when horses will return to the Wellington International show grounds for competition. A longtime sponsor of the Winter Equestrian Festival and ESP Annual Series horse shows, IDA Development is playing an integral role in the barn upgrades by spearheading the construction initiative.
