Ocala, Florida — January 06, 2022 — The third annual AIR Show Jumping Winter Classic kicked off Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the stunning Florida Horse Park. The boutique, exhibitor-focused event will host two action-packed weeks highlighting various top hunter, jumper, and equitation events. Both weeks will feature a $7,500 Welcome Stake, national or international hunter derbies, and $30,000 Grand Prix events; hunter and jumper outreach and young horse classes will also be. Week one will include a special Arena Eventing classic accompanied by an exhibitor-spectator party, sponsored by Notting Hill.
If you are a hunter rider planning to accumulate points towards the World Championship Hunter Rider finale in 2022, the AIR Show Jumping Winter Classic is the place to get started! The second week of the event will feature various WCHR rated classes from January 12-16,2022.
“We are very, very excited to have another standout year at this incredible venue and welcome the public once again,” stated show owner Bill Worthington. “We have expanded upon previous years to provide what we are looking forward to be the best event to date.”
Despite Covid-19 restrictions in the previous year, the show managed to double its entry list during its second year so exhibitors are encouraged to reserve their stalls as early as possible. AIR Show Jumping is excited to return for its third year at the Florida Horse Park in 2022 and welcome back its close-knit equestrian family as the United States Equestrian Federation continues to advise on acceptable spectator capacities.
