Parker, Colorado, USA – July 24, 2021 – The first-ever Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) Denver International kicked off Wednesday, July 21, offering top hunter, jumper, and equitation competition throughout the scenic Colorado Horse Park. Featuring a CSI2* rating, the all-new location showcased exciting international competition across the week. Friday morning kicked off with the $37,000 Restylane 1.45m Welcome CSI 2*, where the victory was awarded to Hunter Holloway (USA) aboard the Hays Investment Corporation’s Pepita Con Spita (DSP Con Spirit x Come On).
The 1.45m course designed by Guilherme Jorge (BRA) saw only 3 clear efforts to immediately secure those rider’s spots on the podium.

Finishing in second was the USA’s Laura Hite (USA) aboard HF Farms LLC’s Chattanooga (Cornet’s Prinz x Carprilli), with Mexico’s Eduardo Sanchez Navarro and Paula Lebrija’s Werika (VDL Zirocco Blue x Ogano Sitte) claiming third.
Eduardo Sanchez Navaro (MEX) and Werika put in the first clear round, but ultimately, Holloway (USA) and her 10-year-old Westphalian mare, Pepita Con Spita, were the only pair to jump the perfect double-clear effort to take the win.
FEI competition will continue on Sunday, July 25, with the $75,000 1.45m Grand Prix CSI2*, and the feature event for hunter competition will take place on Saturday, July 24, with the $7,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby.
