Devon, Pennsylvania โ May 21, 2026 โ Junior jumper riders took to the Dixon Oval for the first evening session of the 2026 show in Thursday nightโs 1.40m Junior Jumper Speed Class at the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair.
JJ Torano claimed first-place honors aboard North Runโs Hanoverian stallion Lyon 50 (Lord Argentinus x Lexiโs Girl) with a fault-free time of 53.163 seconds. This marks the second consecutive year that Torano has raced to victory in the 1.40m Junior Jumper Speed Class.

โItโs very historic, and to be here at Devon, even to show, is really an honor,โ Torano shared about the significance of competing in and winning the class for the second consecutive year. โIโve been partnered with Lyon for over a year now. We know each other very well. Weโve had countless wins. We took the U25 final win together [$50,000 BrainJuice U25 Grand Prix Final]. So, I think it comes down to the partnership. Heโs a super fast horse, super competitive. He gives 100% every time.โ
Second place went to Violet Tatum aboard Tatum Equestrianโs Flotylla, while Amy Krebs finished third with her own Jabantos.
