Doha, Qatar – April 05, 2026 – The Longines Arena at Al Shaqab hosted the closing day of the 2026 Qatar Equestrian Federation Cup CSI 5* & CSI 3* on Sunday, as the final event of the 2026 Doha Equestrian Tour came to an end. Kristen Vanderveen (USA) was the star of the day there, claiming three wins. After winning the 1.35m speed challenge earlier, she made it two in a row, teaming up with Starbuks 27 in the €29,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5*.

Winners of the €57,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5* on Thursday, the American and the Bull Run Jumpers’ 2016 bay Holsteiner gelding (Stakkato x Colman) were up to their tricks again, securing first place after a clean round in 73.89 second.
Zain Shady Shamir (EGY) chose a very conservative approach aboard Le Boss and it paid off. Despite being over seven seconds slower than the winning mark, they were the only other combination to leave all the poles up, thus earning reserve honors.
Bassem Mohammed (QAR) and Wathnan Zodiak were faster than the winning duo but their time of 73.48 seconds came at the expense of a rail down, meaning that they had to settle for third place.

Final Results – €29,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5*
1) Kristen Vanderveen (USA) & Starbuks 27 – 0 – 73.89
2) Zain Shady Shamir (EGY) & Le Boss – 0 – 81.27
