
Wellington, United States – March 19, 2026 – Before going on to win the $62,500 BrainWater Grand Prix CSI 2* on Sunday, Charlotte Jacobs (USA) and Rincoola Milsean got off to the perfect start, topping the 32,000 BrainWater Qualifier CSI 2* on Thursday during the eleventh week of the 2024 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Wellington International.

Sixty-seven combinations took part in Andy Christiansen’s (USA) first-round course and eleven combinations advanced towards the tiebreaker. Amongst them, Jacobs and the North Star Sport Horses’ 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (Aldatus Z x Cruising), claiming the win after a foot-perfect jump-off effort in 36.43 seconds.
Ruppert Carl Winkelmann (GER) and Imodo impressed too. The German guided the 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding towards reserve honors in 36.77 seconds.
The United States bookended the podium as Jonathan McCrea (USA) rode Campari in flawless fashion too, completing the podium in 39.06 seconds.
