Ocala, Florida – February 05, 2026 – Case closed, course completed flawlessly and fast! Samantha Schaefer (USA) used her riding skills along with James Bond HX‘s intelligence and speed to win the $32,000 Budweiser Speed CSI 2* on Thursday at the World Equestrian Center (WEC).

The American was supreme aboard the Bonne Chance Farm‘s 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Douglas x Cash), keeping all the poles up before crossing the wire in 69.06 seconds.
Samuel Parot (CHI) galloped fast on Gradje O wherever there was enough room to do so, still leaving all the poles up. However, the Chilean rider was over a second slower than the eventual winners, still good enough for silver honors with their time of 70.24 seconds.
Maya Denis (MEX) and Jantien de Muze were not too far behind the latter two, in fact, just eleven-hundredths of a second separated the second and third-place finishers. Bronze honors was conquered in 70.35 seconds by the Mexican rider who has had several top placings so far this season.
