Ocala, United States – January 21, 2026 – As a rising star in the noble sport, Charlotte Jacobs (USA) has shown she’s a force to be reckoned with at high-level competitions the past 3-4 years and that was the case on the opening day of CSI 4* classes at World Equestrian Center (WEC) – Ocala this year.

Riding Thomascourt Ballypatrick, the North Star Sport Horse’s 11-year-old bay Irish Sport Horse gelding (Balou du Rouet x Indoctro), she blew past the competition to win the $32,000 Speed Challenge CSI 4*, clearing all the 1.45m obstacles before crossing the finish line in 66.49 seconds.

Sergio Álvarez Moya (ESP) and Be Blue were the closest ones, finishing second only due to their time of 68.75 seconds.
Paul O’Shea (IRL) and Manglar LS La Silla rounded out the top three, registering no penalties in 71.40 seconds.
