
Ocala, Florida – March 06, 2025 – Spencer Smith (USA) has been a consistent name amongst high-placed riders at the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). On Thursday, Smith teamed up with Keeneland, to claim bronze honors in the $116,000 Adequan® WEF Challenge Cup Round IX CSI 5* at Wellington International.

Coming home mistake free indeed over Alan Wade’s (IRL) short course, Smith and Ashland Farms & Storm Ridge Capital’s 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding (Carmena Z x Quattro B) registered the third-fastest clean performance amongst the 16 combinations that took part in the tiebreaker.
