Fort Worth, Texas โ April 11, 2026 โ Kaitlin Campbell (USA) and Cosm Hesed delivered a blistering jumpโoff to top Saturdayโs $50,000 National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame National Prix, presented by Sundance Square, a nationalโlevel class held alongside the Longines FEI Jumping World Cupโข Finals. The class offered a rare opportunity to compete in the same worldโclass environment as the championship contenders, and Campbell seized the moment with one of her younger mounts.ย
With the Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) as event organizer, the City of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Sports Commission are hosting the Longines FEI Jumping World Cupโข Final and Zen Elite FEI Dressage World Cupโข Final at Dickies Arena, April 8-12, 2026.

From a starting field of 24, 11 combinations advanced to the jumpโoff, setting the stage for a fast finale. Campbell, who has partnered with the 12โyearโold gelding owned by Mirasol Equestrian for the past year and a half, relied on his natural speed to secure the win.
โI know Cosm really well, and heโs always really good the first time in the ring,โ Campbell said. โHe keeps his attention. This is definitely the biggest, most impressive arena Iโve ever shown him in, but he wasnโt phased at all.โ
Campbell gave Cosm Hesed a light training session Friday to let him take in the atmosphere. When it came time to compete, the pair stepped into Dickies Arena buzzing with energy.
โWe donโt always have crowds like this in show jumping. They were very loud,โ she said. โThe acoustics in the ring when you land off a jump sounds like there are even more people in there. The rider before me went clear and got a huge round of applause, and I think he heard that and thought, โOh, this is important!โโ

With multiple double-clear rounds ahead of her in the jump-off, Campbell knew that she had to be quick to beat Arturo Parada Vallejo (MEX) and Jaguar Fighter Goโs time of 34.065 seconds.ย
โI show against Arturo a lot in California, and I know how fast he is,โ she explained. โI assumed he went as fast as he possibly could [as she couldnโt watch his round] and I knew I needed to do the same. My horse is really fast across the ground and heโs very intuitive. He knows when itโs a jumpโoff. He actually jumped so high over one jump I thought I might go off the side for a second, but he was great. I even left one stride out to the last line.โ

At the end of the class, Campbell rode away with the win in 31.744 seconds, nearly 3 seconds faster than the second place finisher, Parada Vallejo and third place finisher, Daisy Ford (USA) on Berlinโs Hope BH Z who jumped double clear in 34.076 seconds.ย
The National Prix is designed to give riders and developing horses a chance to experience the same environment as the FEI World Cupโข Finals.ย

โYou donโt get many chances, especially on the West Coast, to ride in rings like this that are so well done, with a crowd that really knows whatโs going on,โ Campbell said. โAny opportunity to go in these types of classes that Split Rock [Jumping Tour] puts on during a big championship like this is super special.โ
Campbell has a long history with Split Rock Jumping Tour, dating back to its earliest days.
โI was actually at the very first Split Rock show in Lexington [Kentucky],โ she said. โWeโve tried to support it throughout the years. If thereโs ever an issue, everyone is always trying to help. Derek [Braun] was a rider before he started putting on these shows, and it makes a big difference to have a rider managing it and putting the horses first.โ
