
Ocala, United States – February 25, 2026 – Kent Farrington (USA) and Diakatisa were off to a flying start on Wednesday at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala, Florida. Farrington and Diakatisa dashed towards top honors in the $32,000 Speed Challenge CSI 2*.

Facing 25 other stellar entries in the 1.45m speed contest, the American and the 2017 grey Oldenburger mare (Diaron OLD x Stakkatol) left the field in the dust, winning with almost a five-second difference between the next pair, blazing across the finish line in 61.37 seconds.

American riders bookended the podium as Alex Matz (USA) guided Viva Pleasure PS for a third place finish, backed by a clean scorecard and time of 67.40 seconds.
Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) and Rolex Ter Leydonck were the closest ones, earning the red ribbon in 66.18 seconds.
