
Ocala, United States – February 11, 2026 – Five-star competition during the Winter Spectacular Show Series kicked off last Wednesday at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC). The United States was well represented by Hunter Holloway (USA) and Pepita Con Spita, who claimed second place in the $32,000 Wild Horse Refuge Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2*.
Holloway (USA) and the 15-year-old Westphalian mare (CSP Con Spirit x Come On) owned by Hays Investment Group, led much of the 1.45m contest with their foot-perfect performance of 63.63 seconds, only to be overcome by the winners, Erynn Ballard (CAN) and Her Game Ball BG.
Final Results – $32,000 Wild Horse Refuge Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2*
1) Erynn Ballard (CAN) & Paladin 116 – 0 / 0 – 35.05
2) Shane Sweetnam (IRL) & Balou H – 0 / 0 – 36.58
3) Richard Vogel (GER) & Quizas van’t Hulsbos – 0 / 0 – 37.05
