Thermal, United States – January 25, 2026 – When the World No. 1 rider is coming behind you in the jump-off, you have little choice but to take some chances if you want to win. And is exactly what Callie Schott (USA) did aboard Uricas v/d Kattenvennen to claim silver honors in the $340,000 BrainJuice Active Grand Prix CSI 5* at Desert International Horse Park.
Following the first-round track, designed by Colm Quinn and Alan Wade (IRL), Callie Schott (USA) and Uricas v/d Kattenvennen were one of eight entries to qualify to jump off for the win in the Desert Circuit 3 featured class.

The time to beat was set early at 38.71 seconds by the Callie Schott (USA) and Uricas v/d Kattenvennen. In the end, Mathijs Van Asten (NED) and Hotspot were the only ones to improve the mark, claiming the win.

While the class marked the conclusion of CSI5* competition at Desert Circuit 3, presented by BrainJuice, both CSI2* and CSI5* competition resume next week at Desert Circuit 4, featuring the $340,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ CSI 5* W – Thermal.
