Skylar Wireman & Barclino B Blaze to First in the $32,000 Ingram Family Qualifier CSIO 3*

Traverse City, Michigan – July 25, 2025 – Skylar Wireman (USA) piloted Barclino B to a victory on home soil in the $32,000 Ingram Family Qualifier CSIO 3* on Friday during Nations Cup week at Traverse City Horse Shows’ Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF), presented by B&D Builders.

From a stacked field of 43 competitors, Wireman was one of nine to advance to the tie-breaking jump-off built by course designer Nick Granat (USA). Returning last, the pressure was on, and Wireman rose to the occasion with her 9-year-old Holsteiner gelding.

The 20-year-old stopped the short course clock at 37.10 seconds to take the victory and bump Canada’s Nicole Walker (CAN) to second aboard Atout des Trambles (39.02 seconds).

Conor Swail (IRL) rounded out the top three in 39.31 riding Qoreen van’t Ruytershof.

“It’s a very competitive week with the Nations Cup; we have a lot of top riders here from several countries so to have a big win this week is special for me,” said Wireman, who is building momentum for a bid at qualifying for the 2026 FEI World Cup™ Finals in Fort Worth, TX, which includes a hopeful appearance in the $340,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Traverse City during the Tournament of Champions this fall at Flintfields Horse Park.

“He really seems to like this ring here,” continued Wireman of the gelding that made his three-star debut in the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel International Ring in 2024. “I think a lot of horses jump well here. I’ve loved it here, and it’s great to be on the lake during the summer.”

Wireman got the ride on Barclino B (Constanzehof’s Barcley x Lasino) after purchasing the gelding from Germany’s Kendra Brinkop, who also bred the horse.

“I was looking for one of our clients, but I tried him and really liked him,” explained Wireman of her first ride on Barclino B. “They weren’t planning to sell him at that time but we made a plan to purchase him—and they agreed—so he’s special. I knew he had talent and he really wants to be a winner.”
