
Ocala, Florida – March 15, 2025 – Excitement could be felt in the ambience during the 2025 Live Oak International on Saturday as the second day of FEI-level showjumping took place at the Live Oak Plantation. In the main ring, the $32,000 Live Oak International Stake CSI 4*, presented by Horseflight saw Will Simpson (USA) claimed victory aboard Keminko N.
Going up against 18 other combinations in the first round the 10-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Grand Slam) advance to the tiebreaker along with 10 other competitors. In the end, it was Simpson who was supreme by being clean all the way to the wire again, securing the lion’s share of the jackpot in 37.03 seconds.

It was a one-two for the host nation as Alex Matz (USA) and his faithful partner, Cashew CR, managed to register a clean scorecard after two performances too, earning reserve honors just two-tenths of a second.
A true testament of international-level competition, another powerhouse of showjumping was represented on the podium: Germany! Rene Dittmer (GER) maded his girlfriend and Live Oak International co-president Chloe Reid (USA) even happiers, rounding out the podium with Cody 139 in 41.25 seconds.
