
Ocala, Florida, United States – March 07, 2025 – Tanner Korotkin (USA) made the trip from Wellington to Ocala for the week more than worthwhile, teaming up with Cardozo 4 to claim the top spot in the $32,000 Winning Round CSI 3* at World Equestrian Center – Ocala last Friday.

With a swift time of 37.43 seconds in the winning round while still managing to keep all the poles up, Korotkin and the 12-year-old chestnut Westphalian gelding (Colestus x Falkenhof’s Lancer) cruised towards victory in the 1.45m challenge in flawless fashion, making it all look smooth and easy.

Caroline Mawhinney (USA) and Hallilea were the closest ones, matching the clean scorecard of the eventual winners, nipping 8 other combinations in the decisive round with their final time of 39.60 seconds.

Mawhinney had one more reason to celebrate throughout the week, she had beaten her trainer, Jessica Mendoza (GBR). who registered no penalties aboard Ascadina PP Z, securing bronze honors in 40.63 seconds.
