
Sarasota, Florida, USA – February 15, 2025 – Alexandra Worthington (USA) stole the spotlight last Saturday at the TerraNova Equestrian Center. Concluding the first week of the TerraNova Winter Series in grand fashion, she teamed up with De L’Oiseliere for victory in the $65,000 Grand Prix of Sarasota CSI 2*.

Twenty-five combinations lined in the first round of the 1.45m jump-off challenge with five of them, all from different nations advancing to the tiebreaker. The American and the 12-year-old Selle Français gelding (Kapital dArgonne x Oberon du Moulin) were supreme by leaving all the poles and completing the final course in 33.39 seconds.
Amanda Derbyshire (GBR) and Cornwall BH gave the winners a run for their money, finishing less than three-tenths of a second behind, earning second place due to their time of 33.66 seconds in the tiebreaker.
Three different nations climbed onto the podium. Lauren Hayes (CAN) and Londora completed the top 3 backed by two penalty-free performances too, securing bronze honors in 36.40 seconds.
