
Thermal, California, USA – January 16, 2025 – An international field of riders representing the United States, Canda, Ireland, Mexico, Japan entered the main ring Desert International Horse Park on Thursday for the $30,000 FarmVet 1.45m Open Classic and the host nation did not disappoint. Finishing in second place was Michelle Parker (USA) , who held the lead for much of the class with a time of 62.326 seconds aboard Vivalunaika Blue, owned by Cross Creek Farms, Inc.
After more than a decade of winters spent competing in Florida, this year marks Lorcan Gallagher’s (IRL) first full season and he was off to a great start, claiming the win.
Third place went to another American, Rachel Long (USA), with a time of 62.689 seconds and her own HH Diamant Blue.
