Del Mar, California, USA – July 13, 2024 – The excitement during the Del Mar Sunshine Classic reached its peak at the Del Mar Horse Park with the running of the $100,000 Premier Air Charter Grand Prix. Skylar Wireman (USA) delivered two exceptional performances, clinching the top spot in this prestigious class with Tornado. Wireman’s victory in the Grand Prix was not her only triumph of the weekend. She also secured a win in the $1,000 U25 Classic on her remarkable horse, Tornado.

The dynamic duo dashed through the jump-off timers in flawless fashion, securing the win against 7 other combinations who had qualified for the tiebreaker, doing so in 38.68 seconds.

Jaime Azcarraga Romandia (MEX) and Bailey von Ilum were also double clear, finishing second due to their final time of 39.56 seconds.

Elisa Broz (USA) and Consult Picobello Z completed the podium, registering no penalties in 39.70 seconds.
