
Lexington, Kentucky, USA – April 27, 2024 – The second event of the year of the Split Rock Jumping Tour kicked off last Friday with the running of the Kentucky Invitational CSI 4*, held along with the prestigious Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event at Kentucky Horse Park. Charlotte Jacobs (USA) got off to the perfect start, teaming up with Rincoola Milsean for top honors in the $35,000 Welcome Speed Cup CSI 4*.
Jacobs and North Star Sport Horses’ 11-year-old chestnut Irish Sporthorse gelding (Aldatus Z x Cruising) raced past the competition in the 1.45 speed challenge, completing their fault-free performance in 56.240 seconds for the victory.
Besides Jacobs, another star on the rise himself, Nicolas Gamboa (COL) also added a ribbon to his collection, earning reserve honors in 56.980 seconds with NKH Mr. Darcy.
Daniel Bluman (ISR) and Gemma W rounded out the top three backed by a clean round too, securing bronze honors in 57.810 seconds.
