Katy, Texas, USA – April 12, 2024 – After winning the third Welcome Stake in a row at the 2024 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, Martien van der Hoeven (USA) was back on the podium in Thursday’s $25,000 Monarch Stables Grand Prix at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center.

Second place was claimed backed by two penalty-free performances and a final time of 36.844 seconds by Martien van der Hoeven (USA) and Chance Encounter, owned by Marlac Ventures. Finishing in third was the only other grand prix winner so far this Pin Oak circuit, Avery Griffin (USA), this time aboard Bodega Semilly, owned by PBC Equine Investments, LLC.

2) Martien Van Der Hoeven(USA) & Chance Encounter – 0 / 0 – 36.844
