Heather Caristo-Williams & Marciano MVF “Taste” Victory in the Champagne Piaff Grand Prix of Miami Beach CSI 2*

Miami Beach, Florida, USA – April 06, 2024 – The final day of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach culminated in a spectacular display of top sport at the €25,000 Grand Prix of Miami Beach CSI 2*, presented by Champagne Piaff.

Against the backdrop of the glittering shores of the Atlantic Ocean, riders from around the world gathered to compete in the iconic event in pursuit of sun, sea and success.

The €25,000 Grand Prix of Miami Beach CSI 2*, presented by Champagne Piaff, saw an exhilarating competition on the final day, with riders navigating a challenging course designed to test both their precision and speed. As the tension mounted, the audience was treated to thrilling displays of athleticism from both horse and rider.

Heather Caristo-Williams (USA) & Marciano MVF

Claiming the coveted top spot was Heather Caristo-Williams (USA), riding the impressive Marciano MVF. Heather and Marciano delivered a foot perfect performance, executing the only double clear round of the competition. The stellar performance earned them well-deserved acclaim and secured her place at the pinnacle of the leaderboard.

Peter Lutz (USA) & Katriona

Hot on Heather’s heels was fellow American rider Peter Lutz (USA) , who piloted Katriona to a commendable second-place finish. Despite collecting four penalty-points in the second round, Peter’s impressive speed and skilful riding showcased his talent and determination to contend for victory.

Alice Dunsdon (GBR) & El Wee Widge

Rounding out the top three was Alice Dunsdon (GBR), riding the spirited El Wee Widge. Alice delivered a strong performance throughout the competition, demonstrating her expertise in the saddle and earning a well-earned podium finish.

While Peter Lutz’s swift time in the second round hinted at a potential victory, a single rail down ultimately relegated him to second place. Nonetheless, his performance was a testament to the fierce competition that characterized the event.
