Simpson & Keminko N Impose Their Will in the $32,000 Live Oak International Challenge CSI 4*-W

Ocala, Florida, USA – March 16, 2024 – Will Simpson (USA) and Keminko N sped to victory in the $32,000 Live Oak International Challenge CSI 4*-W on Saturday at Live Oak Plantation. Simpson and the 9-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood Royal Dutch Sport Horse gelding (KWPN) came away first, around two tracks designed by German course designer Olaf Petersen Jr. (GER) with a jump-off time of 38.73 seconds, Will was the fastest in a jump-off of 6 competitors.

“He (Keminko) is a very green horse, just getting started in his FEI career, but he really fights for it. Anyway, I think I lucked out and had a course that was suitable to him today but it was truly fantastic jumping here at Live Oak International.”

Aaron Vale (USA) & Styles

Second place was awarded to Aaron Vale (USA), who guided Styles towards two flawless rounds, earning second place duo their jump-off time of 39.44 seconds.

Chloe D. Reid (USA) & Chelsea 179

Bronze honors was claimed by the event’s co-organizer herself, Chloe D. Reid (USA) and her mount Chelsea 179, completing their fault-free jump-off round in 39.50 seconds, narrowly missing out on the second spot.
