Two Americans on the Podium! Laura Kraut & Calgary Tame Show their Wings at Wellington International

Wellington, Florida, USA – March 10, 2024 – Two Americans closed out the ninth week of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in grand fashion as Laura Kraut (USA) and Mimi Gochman (USA) rode respectively to second and third place finishes in the $62,500 Hermès CSI 5* at Wellington International.

The class was won by Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) & Do It Easy, who bested the field of 51 competitors in the 1.50m challenge, remaining at the top of the leaderboard with a double-clear, being timed in 38.59 seconds in the tiebreaker.

The German saw two Americans in her rear-view mirror. All the top three spots on the podium were claimed by ladies. Laura Kraut (USA) matched the score of Brinkop and was stride for stride with her almost until the wire, eventually finishing second with Calgary Tame in 38.96 seconds.

Mimi Gochman (USA) & Inclen BH

A young star on the rise, Mimi Gochman (USA) completed the all-female podium, completing her second trip aboard Inclen BH in the International Arena in 39.33 seconds.
