“Quick Partner” Propels Heather Caristo-Williams to Victory at Wellington

Wellington, Florida, USA – November 26, 2023 – The South Florida Hunter Jumper Association (SFHJA) recently held its 73rd Annual Charity Horse Show, a prestigious event taking place from November 21st to November 26th. This gathering showcased an array of equestrian talents, from Open Stakes to Grand Prix competitions, underlining the association’s enduring legacy in the sport. 

SFHJA, known for fostering inclusivity and accessibility in equestrian sports, has its roots in the grassy fields of old Florida. Over the years, the association has expanded its scope, sanctioning shows from small farm events to major competitions at some of the world’s finest venues. Keeping true to its foundational values, SFHJA emphasizes education in horsemanship, sportsmanship, and charitable initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in hunters, jumpers and equitation.  

The week concluded on Sunday with the $10,000 Ilan Ferder Stables 1.35m Jumper Stake. Heather Caristo-Williams (USA) claimed the top spot on Contino-Quick MVF with a jump-off time of 38.419 seconds. Following her were Michael Murphy (USA) on Giuliano Gustavo with a time of 40.071 seconds and Alexis Bodo (USA) on Select’s London Calling Old, securing third place with a time of 40.441 seconds.
