Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – October 29, 2023 – Ending her week on a high note, Taylor Land (USA) piloted Team Land Syndicate I’s 2015 Oldenburg gelding (Etoulon x Pretty Woman), Escobar WW, to the top of the leaderboard in the $25,000 Van Winkle Law Firm Sunday Classic.

In a class with 31 entries and with 11 entering the jump-off, Land had the quickest time with 34.91 seconds.

Receiving reserve honors with another double-clear time of 34.996 seconds was Sharn Wordley (NZL) and Fernando Cardenas’ Valentine Car, the 2009 Warmblood gelding (Son of Juan Car x Sofia Car).

Michael Kocher (USA) aboard his own Gina V, a 2011 Dutch Warmblood mare (Cicero Z Van Paemel x Wina V) earned third place with a clear jump-off time of 37.29 seconds.
