Culpeper, Virginia – August 18, 2023 – Melissa Strawser (USA) and Darwin de Mars doubled down and claimed back-to-back victories during the $10,000 Hits Prix. The duo shot to the top of a 10-horse jump-off and garnered their second victory of the week.

Strawser and Darwin De Mars secured their first win on Wednesday in the $5,000 Hits Open Welcome and were still riding the high Friday afternoon when they finished their jump-off round in a swift 38.14 seconds.

Tracy Magness (USA) and her veteran partner Intenz Van HD followed right on Strawser’s heels with a time of 39.13 seconds, which would help slide them into the second-place position.

Marylisa Leffler (USA) and Zaza Z were the final competitors whose ride would hold up for the top three, securing a time of 39.24 seconds, just .11 seconds off of Magness and Intenz Van HD’s time.
