Wayne, Illinois, USA – August 13, 2023 – The Lamplight Equifest Series came to a close on Sunday at HITS Chicago, but riders were aiming for the top of the podium as the summer season winds down. Speedy efforts were made in the Douglas Elliman Grand Prix Stadium for the victory in Sunday’s $50,000 SummitMax Grand Prix. Shannon Sullivan (uUSA) and Downtown’s Main Event were too fast to be caught during the jump-off, crossing the timers with all the rails intact and clocking in at an impressive 34.57 seconds. Following right behind Sullivan was Tiffany Hammock (USA) with her mount, Ghana FS Z, who claimed second with a double clear and a jump-off time of 35.18 seconds. Rounding out the top three in this very competitive class was Friday’s Grand Prix winner, Caelinn Leahy (USA) and her veteran partner, the Gray Man. The duo was fault-free with a jump-off time of 35.21 seconds.
