Wayne, Illinois, USA – August 04, 2023 – As the weekend kicks off, Equifest II is in full swing at HITS Chicago. On Friday morning, top-notch grand prix riders vied for victory honors in the $25,000 Hits Grand Prix. Tiffany Hammack (USA) was on her A-game, garnering first and third on her two mounts, out of a very competitive six-horse jump-off. With her first mount, Ghana FS Z, she passed the timers with an uncatchable time of 33.645 seconds, claiming the top spot. Hammack‘s second mount, Verdi O’Merveilles, clocked in at a respectable time of 35.048, to take over third place. A close second was secured by Nicolas Gamboa (COL) and his mount, NKH Vittorio S, with a commendable time of 34.706 seconds.
