Saugerties, New York< USA – August 06, 2023 – The limit did not exist for Alex Matz (USA) and GK Finette after they took the $25,000 Hits Grand Prix by storm. The pair jumped ahead of 46 other horse and rider combinations in the overall line-up, besting a 10-horse jump-off after a penalty-free performance in 36.966 seconds. 

Following behind Matz and GK Finette in second place just .64 seconds later were Hilary McNerney (USA) and Brava with their quick fault-free effort of 37.612 seconds.

Conor O’Regan (IRL) and Big Boy Z were the final team to give a double-clear effort quick enough to slide into the top three, coming in nearly half a second after McNerney and Brava with a time of 37.966 seconds. 

Matz also managed to snag the fourth-place spot as well on Horseshoe Trail Farm, LLC’s Erdento van de Leeuwerk.
