Wayne, Illinois, USA – July 30, 2023 – Lisa Goldman-Smolen (USA) turned in another dominating performance at Hits Chicago on Sunday morning to close out the first week of Equifest. She garnered both of the top spots during the $50,000 Hits Grand Prix, winning the jump-off with Ivaro N and piloting Sovereign to a close second-place finish. Nicolas Gamboa (COL) was hot on their heels during the six-horse tiebreaker, finishing just two-hundredths of a second slower for third place aboard NKH Mr. Darcy.
