
Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – July 16, 2023 – The fifth week of the Tryon Summer Series came to an end last Sunday at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) & Resort with the running of the $25,000 Sunday Classic, presented by The Van Winkle Law Firm. The class featured 29 entries with only five pairs making it to the jump off round. In the end, Dominic Gibbs (USA) aboard the 2012 Swedish Warmblood mare, Amazing (Baltimore x Evelien Van De) owned by Mountain King Ranch LLC’s, had a time of 35.374 seconds in the jump off to clinch the win.
Earning reserve honors with a time of 36.715 seconds in the jump off was Fernando Cardenas (COL) and Cool Ray Na (Quincy Car x Dolores De Vanta), the 2014 Oldenburg stallion owned by B&C LLC.

Placing third was Oakside LLC’s, 2009 Swedish Warmblood mare, Fortuna (Elmshorn x Fame) and rider, Leah Curtiss (USA) with a jump off time of 36.74 seconds.
